Life is lived in the present. Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow is yet to be. Today is the miracle.
Now, go make something!

Hot Water Bottle Cover

Finally did my hot water bottle cover.  Looked over so many different patterns, and ended up saying to hell with this, grabbed up some 9mm's and to colour's of wool, and away I went.  This is all one piece folded over and sewn at the sides.  The ribbed neck picked up and knitted afterwards.  SUPER EASY!

Fingerless Gloves

Cute and easy, these are super quick to knit.  I have another pair that is exactly the same, but does not curl up at the fingers.   =)

Finger Gloves, Crochet

These were another experiment, made the pattern up as I went a long.  I started by making the individual fingers, then joined them together, continuing there after with the palm of the hand etc.

Didn't work out too badly, but ended up being very very stretchy...

the pattern on line and used buttons instead of beads, now to do another!

Stripey Scarf

Old scarf from last year.

Pink Dress

This is an improvised project from last year.  I saw a pic in a magazine and tried to emulate it.  Wasn't terribly successful with the skirt part, but didn't turn out too terribly.

Golden Compass Bonnet

Anyone ever see 'The Golden Compass' ??  That is where this bonnet idea came from.

Looks really cute on.

Here's a pic from the movie, and here's mine =)

Isn't as chunky, but the same kind of idea.

Hat's Of Knitted Past

Camo Touqe

Fancy Hat
For Baby
Hunter's Touqe

These are just some of the hats that I have done in the past that I managed to take shots of.  I know they're not too exciting, but they're super easy to do.

Binoo

My son watches Toopy and Binoo umpteen times a day, so I decided to try my stuff, and see what I could come up with.  He adores Binoo, shouts it every time the show comes on.  This is the end product, I'm quite proud of it.  And, he loves it, so I'm happy.

The Point Of It All =)

I wanted to share my successes and defeats with needle crafts, as it really is a passion of mine and has been since I was young.  There's a story behind everything we make, and I'd like to hear your stories.  So please, share if you will!
